Terms & Conditions

Last updated: June 10, 2026

Mobile Phonebook is a free call referral directory, not a service provider. We do not perform any services, provide estimates, guarantee pricing or availability, or warrant the work of any provider your call is connected to. Any agreement for services is solely between you and the independent provider. You are responsible for verifying licensing, insurance, references, pricing, and contract terms before hiring anyone.

1. Acceptance of these Terms

By accessing or using mobilephonebook.org (the “Site”) or calling a phone number listed on the Site (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Site and do not call the listed numbers. You must be at least 18 years old and located in the United States to use the Service. The Site and Service are operated by Mobile Phonebook (“we,” “us,” or “our”).

2. What the Service is

Mobile Phonebook lists phone numbers for common local services. When you call a listed number, an automated phone system may ask you to enter your ZIP code, and your call is then routed to an independent local service provider in or near your area. We are a directory and advertising service: we connect calls; we do not perform, supervise, schedule, price, or guarantee any work, and we are not a party to any agreement you enter with a provider.

3. Advertising disclosure: how we make money

The Service is free for callers and is supported by advertising. The providers (or the marketing networks that work with them) that receive your call may pay us for connected calls. Payment may influence which provider receives your call. A listing or connection is not an endorsement, recommendation, or certification of any provider.

4. Calls, ZIP codes, recording, and follow-up

By dialing a number listed on the Site, you consent to being connected to an independent local service provider and, where permitted by law, to the recording and monitoring of the call for quality assurance, verification, billing, and fraud prevention. You also agree that we and the provider who received your call may use your phone number to return the specific call you initiated (for example, if the call drops or the provider needs to follow up on your request). Calling a listed number does not subscribe you to any marketing list operated by us. Standard carrier charges may apply to your call.

5. Independent service providers

All providers reached through the Service are independent third parties. They are not employees, agents, partners, or representatives of Mobile Phonebook, and we do not control them. Each provider operates under its own terms, pricing, and privacy practices.

6. No guarantees about connections or providers

We do not guarantee that your call will connect, that a provider will be available in your area, answer, or follow up, or that any provider will offer a particular price or meet your expectations. We do not verify, endorse, or guarantee any provider's licensing, insurance, bonding, qualifications, pricing, availability, or the quality, safety, or legality of their work.

7. Your responsibility to verify providers

Before hiring any provider, you are solely responsible for evaluating and verifying the provider's licensing, insurance, references, reviews, permits, pricing, scope of work, and contract terms.

8. Editorial content is informational only

Guides, articles, tips, and other editorial content on the Site are provided for general informational purposes only. They are not professional, legal, medical, financial, or safety advice, and they may not reflect current laws, codes, prices, or best practices in your area. Always consult a qualified professional about your specific situation before acting on anything you read on the Site.

9. No affiliation with named brands

Any brand names, trademarks, product names, or company names that appear on the Site belong to their respective owners. Their appearance is for identification and informational purposes only and does not imply any affiliation with, sponsorship by, or endorsement by those owners, unless expressly stated.

10. Prohibited use

You agree not to: place calls with false, harassing, or fraudulent intent; use automated systems, bots, or spoofed caller ID; scrape, copy, or republish the Site's listings or content without permission; or interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site or phone system. We use fraud-detection tools on calls and web traffic and may block numbers and refuse service.

11. Third-party links and services

The Site may link to or rely on third-party sites and services. We are not responsible for their content, products, practices, or availability, and your dealings with them are solely between you and them.

12. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SITE AND SERVICE ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE OR PHONE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, AND WE DISCLAIM ALL RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE ACTS, OMISSIONS, AND WORK OF ANY PROVIDER.

13. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MOBILE PHONEBOOK AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY DAMAGES ARISING FROM SERVICES PROVIDED OR NOT PROVIDED BY ANY PROVIDER, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SITE OR SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Mobile Phonebook and its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the Site or Service, your violation of these Terms, or your dealings with any provider.

15. Binding arbitration; class-action and jury-trial waiver

Please read this section carefully; it affects your legal rights. You and Mobile Phonebook agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to the Site, the Service, or these Terms will be resolved by binding individual arbitration, rather than in court, except that either party may bring an individual claim in small-claims court if it qualifies. Arbitration will be administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, before a single arbitrator, and may be conducted by written submissions, telephone, video, or in person in or near your county of residence. The Federal Arbitration Act governs this section.

Class-action and jury-trial waiver: You and Mobile Phonebook agree that each may bring claims against the other only in an individual capacity, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, consolidated, or representative proceeding. The arbitrator may not consolidate more than one person's claims or preside over any form of representative or class proceeding. You and Mobile Phonebook waive any right to a jury trial.

30-day opt-out: You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by emailing privacy@mobilephonebook.org with your name, the phone number you call from, and a statement that you opt out of arbitration, within 30 days of first accepting these Terms. Opting out will not affect any other part of these Terms.

16. Governing law and venue

These Terms and any dispute not subject to arbitration are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which the operator of this website resides, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. To the extent a dispute is not subject to arbitration, you and Mobile Phonebook consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the state and federal courts located in that state.

17. Changes; severability; entire agreement

We may update these Terms from time to time; we will post the updated version here with a new effective date, and continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. If any provision is found unenforceable, it will be limited or severed to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions will remain in effect. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and Mobile Phonebook regarding the Site and Service.
